Down and Out at Boars Head

The craggy outcrop of Boars Head located just a couple of kilometres north of Katoomba hosts a number of quality low to mid grade multi-pitch sport climbing routes that on their own would make for a solid day out. But when you throw in the fact that their approach involves a 4 pitch abseil through a narrow slot in the headland, the day enters into quality micro-adventure territory.

Snowy Mountain High pt.2: Main Range Meander

Easter may be my favourite time of the year. The weather is warm, the days are long and you’ve got a four day weekend up your sleeve to get out an have a good, hearty adventure.

This year we decided to mix it up and head south to the Snowy Mountains (via the ACT) for some hiking, camping and climbing in the Main Range of the Kosciuszko National Park.

Snowy Mountain High pt.1: Mt Coree

Easter may be my favourite time of the year. The weather is warm, the days are long and you have a four day weekend up your sleeve to get out an have a good, hearty adventure.

This year we decided to mix it up a bit and head south to the Snowy Mountains (via the ACT) for some hiking, camping and climbing in the Main Range of the Kosciuszko National Park.
